Rizozoda Tura Rabbim – deputy rector of international relations department, doctor of economic sciences, professor

He was born on March 5, 1972 in the village of Burageni (now Firdavsi), in Shahriston district. Awards: Excellence in Education of the Republic of Tajikistan. Member of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan.

In 1994, after graduating from the faculty of Economics of Agrarian University of Tajikistan with an honorary diploma, he started his scientific and pedagogical career at Khujand State University (KHSU) named after academician B. Gafurov.

In 1994-1995, he was a teacher of applied economics department of General Economics faculty, in 1999-2000 he was a senior teacher, then an associate professor of finance and credit department, in 2000-2006 he was the head of finance and credit department, at the same time a vice-dean for scientific affairs of economic faculty, in 2008 he was the head of finance, analysis and statistics department, in 2009-2012 dean of cybernetics faculty, 2012-2014 a head of an accounting and auditing department of finance and market economy faculty at Khujand State University after academician B. Gafurov.

During 2014-2019, by the order of the Chairman of Tojikmatlubot, he was appointed a deputy director for science and innovation of the Institute of Economics and Trade of Tajik State University of Commerce in Khujand.

In 1995-1998 studying at the full-time post-graduate department of Khujand State University after academician B. Gafurov defended his candidate’s thesis at the Dissertation Council of National State University of Tajikistan on the specialty 08.00.01 – economic theory in 1999. During 2006-2008, he worked as a senior researcher, in 2009 he defended his doctoral thesis at the Dissertation Council at the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, and in 2010 he received the title of doctor of economic sciences by the decision of the HAC of Russian Federation.

In 2012-2022, as an active member of Doctoral Councils K 999.031.03 in economic sciences and 6D. KOA – 020 at Tajik State Business University, Dissertation Council 6D. KOA-023 at Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics contributed to supervising and training of candidates and doctors.

In 2013, by the Higher Attesstation Commission of Russian Federation’s decision (Vysshaya Attestatsionnaya Komissiya RF) Rizozoda Tura Rabbim was awarded the title of an associate professor, and in 2017, a title of professor.

During 2019-2024, he held the position of deputy rector for science and innovation at Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics.

Rizozoda T.R. by the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan from April 5, 2024, was appointed deputy rector for international relations of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics.

He is a deputy chair of the Doctoral Dissertation Council 6D.KOA-013 in economic sciences at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics. The topic of his scientific research is devoted to issues of economic development and solving macroeconomic problems, taxes and taxation, including issues of ensuring a stable economic development of the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Currently, there were 27 postgraduates and researchers under Rizozoda Tura Rabbim’s supervision. 26 of them have defended their candidate’s thesis, 1 has defended doctoral thesis and received candidate’s and doctor’s diplomas. Currently, Professor Rizozoda T.R. is a scientific supervisor of 5 doctoral degree and 14 post-graduates.

Rizozoda Tura Rabbim is an author of more than 250 scientific articles, 5 monographs, 12 textbooks and 17 educational and methodological manuals. For his effective educational, scientific activity, he was awarded the high level of “International Accountant”, a title of “Excellence of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan”, and an honorary diploma of People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan.
