Visit of the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khoshimzoda Homid, to Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics

The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khoshimzoda Homid, during his visit to several educational institutions in Sughd region, visited Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics (TSULBP). During his official visit to TSULBP, the First Deputy Minister familiarized with a teaching process, educational environment, and upbringing activities.

During the visit, important issues were discussed such as students’ active participation in classes, their involvement in competitions and Olympiads, as well as their motivation. Khoshimzoda Homid emphasized necessity of regular study of foreign languages, especially Russian and English, natural sciences, exact sciences, and mathematics, highlighting the importance of organizing and expanding educational groups studying in foreign languages.

The First Deputy Minister also recalled implementation process of the “Program for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning Russian and English Languages in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030” and pointed out the need to conduct courses in information technology and innovation development with  involvement of experienced professors.

Additionally, issues related to graduate certification, use of new methods for teaching foreign languages, improving professional skills of teachers, and increasing their professional responsibility in ensuring quality education were discussed.

At the end of the visit, Khoshimzoda Homid offered a number of constructive recommendations aimed at better organizing of teaching and educational process, improving the quality of education, and developing the teaching staff capacity at TSULBP.
