An Address of the President — A Guide for the Sustainable Development of the State
On February 25, 2026, an important meeting dedicated to explaining an Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to Majlisi Oli was held at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics. The purpose of an event was to discuss priority directions of state policy, explain key points of an Address, and involve teachers and students in its practical implementation on a scientific and educational basis.
At the meeting, the rector Sheroz Muminzoda, delivered a speech noting that an Address of the Leader of Nation, as an important strategic document, defines the main directions for sustainable development of the country for the coming years. He emphasized that promotion of education, strengthening foundations of national statehood, digitalization of an economy, support for entrepreneurship, and training of highly qualified specialists are among the issues that require the university community to organize its activities in accordance with the demands of time.
In addition, a prosecutor of the department for supervising implementation of laws concerning minors and youth of the Prosecutor’s Office of Sughd region, Firdaus Huseynzoda, Justice Counselor of the 2nd class, in his speech paid special attention to strengthening legality, preventing offenses among young people, and increasing their legal awareness. It was noted that the Address presents youth as a driving force of society and creates favorable conditions for their education, professional activity, and active participation in the political and social life of the country.
The dean of the Political Science and International Relations faculty, Shukhrat Saidzo da, analyzed political and international significance of the Address in his speech, noting that the balanced foreign policy and open-door policy emphasized in the Address contribute to strengthening Tajikistan’s position in the international arena. He also highlighted important role of scientific research and deep analysis of geopolitical processes in modern conditions.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, as a reliable guide for sustainable development of the state, covers all spheres of public life and creates real foundations for ensuring political stability, economic progress, and social well-being of the population. The participants expressed their readiness to contribute to practical implementation of instructions and recommendations outlined in the Address.
At the end of an event, participants exchanged views and presented proposals for expanding explanatory work and implementing strategic goals within the university environment.
