TSULBP STUDENTS ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN THE NATIONAL COMPETITION “YOUTH AGAINST CORRUPTION”

A solemn award ceremony for the winners of the National Competition “Youth Against Corruption” was held at the State Philharmonic Hall of Tajikistan named after Akasharif Juraev. The competition was organized at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with a number of ministries and government agencies and was dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the “Youth Month” campaign.

Students of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics actively participated in the national competition and achieved remarkable results. In particular, A.J. Ghafforov, a third-year student of Specialty 1-24.01.02 at the Faculty of Law, won second place in the nomination “Modern Anti-Corruption Initiative, Including the Use of Digital Technologies.”

In addition, Sh.N. Artukbaev, a first-year student of Specialty 1-93.01.02 at the Faculty of Law, received the “Active Participant” award in the same nomination. The students were guided and prepared for the competition by lecturers B. Qobilov, N. Mannonzoda, and Sh. Madalieva.

The award ceremony was attended by Sulaymon Said Sultonzoda, Director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan and Lieutenant General of Justice; Rahim Hamro Saidzoda, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan; Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan; as well as representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office, government ministries and agencies, higher and secondary professional educational institutions, international organizations, civil society, and the media.

In their speeches, the officials emphasized that the purpose of the competition was to enhance anti-corruption legal awareness among the population, especially young people, strengthen civic responsibility, and draw public attention to issues related to combating corruption.

It should be noted that the active participation of TSULBP students in such national competitions reflects their high level of knowledge, modern outlook, and active civic engagement. It also contributes to strengthening legal culture and fostering the development of highly qualified and socially responsible professionals.

At the conclusion of the event, the winners were awarded diplomas, certificates of appreciation, cash prizes, and commemorative gifts. Participants also enjoyed a cultural and entertainment program.
