Modern Mathematics and Methods of Teaching It
On February 25, 2026, at the initiative of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, in cooperation with the Department of Education of Sughd Region, a traveling scientific and practical conference entitled “Modern Mathematics and Methods of Teaching” was held at Lyceum No. 1 named after M. Osimi in the city of Khujand. The event was dedicated to the “Twenty Years of Study and Development of Natural, Exact, and Mathematical Sciences in Science and Education” and aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation and improving teaching methods in mathematical disciplines.
A key role in organizing the conference belonged to the faculty and scholars of TSULBP. The conference was considered continuation of the university’s policy aimed at expanding scientific cooperation with secondary educational institutions and strengthening theoretical and practical foundations of education.
The conference began with a speech by Saifullo Rahmatov, advisor of the Department of Education of Sughd Region. After that, professors of TSULBP delivered informative and analytical presentations.
In particular, Associate Professor Mavluda Asrorova presented a report entitled “The Role of a Teacher in Improving the Level and Quality of Education,” where she discussed the role of a modern teacher in developing logical thinking, analytical abilities, and the use of innovative technologies.
Professor Yodgor Mukhsinov delivered a report entitled “Methods of Teaching the Definite Integral.” He presented effective approaches for explaining complex topics in mathematical analysis, the use of practical examples, and ways of developing students’ computational skills. He emphasized that deep study of mathematical analysis forms the basis for preparing competitive specialists.
In addition, Associate Professor Madina Murodova presented a report entitled “Teaching Mathematics at TSULBP,” where she discussed university’s experience in adapting educational programs to modern requirements, implementing active teaching methods, using digital technologies, and strengthening students’ research activities. It was noted that the university pays special attention to training highly qualified specialists in the field of exact sciences.
Professors and associate professors from Khujand State University named after Academician Bobojon Gafurov also contributed to the conference with their scientific presentations, demonstrating cooperation between higher education institutions in the region.
During the conference, a productive exchange of ideas took place among TSULBP teachers, representatives of secondary educational institutions, and other participants. Issues such as improving educational programs, implementing modern teaching methods, preparing students for academic competitions, and increasing their interest in mathematical subjects were discussed in detail.
It was emphasized that holding such traveling conferences at the initiative of TSULBP contributes to strengthening the “school–university” connection, improving teachers’ professional skills, and enhancing the quality of education.
At the end of an event, participants expressed their readiness to continue fruitful cooperation, implement scientific achievements in educational process, and organize joint conferences and events in the future.
