TSULBP: Sports Spartakiad Held

A sports spartakiad was held at the Sports Complex of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics (TSULBP).

The event was organized by the Trade Union Committee of Education and Science workers of Sughd Region in cooperation with administration of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics and was dedicated to the Youth Day of Tajikistan.

The competitions took place in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual understanding, and strong sportsmanship. The main objectives of an event were to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop sports culture, and strengthen friendly cooperation among education sector employees.

The opening ceremony was attended by and featured speeches by Musobek Samizoda, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Education and Science workers of Sughd Region, and Sheroz Muminzoda, rector of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics.

In their remarks, speakers emphasized that sports are one of the key factors in physical education, health promotion, and fostering mutual understanding. They also noted that such events encourage greater participation of young people and employees in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

As part of a measure, education sector employees competed in four sports disciplines: volleyball, checkers, chess, and table tennis. Participants demonstrated excellent athletic skills and good preparation while striving to achieve top results.

According to organizers, winners and prize recipients will be awarded medals, certificates of honor, and commemorative gifts.
