Winners of the Republican Student Olympiad Announced
On May 8, 2026, the closing ceremony of the Republican Olympiad among students of higher professional educational institutions was held at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics under the slogan “He who is knowledgeable is powerful,” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the closing ceremony, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahim Saidzoda, delivered a speech emphasizing that the Republican Olympiad among university students has become an important scientific event. He noted that the Olympiad not only assesses the level of students’ knowledge and professional skills, but also creates a healthy competitive environment for personal development and expansion of their scientific outlook.
The winners of the Olympiad were then announced as follows:
- 1st place — 18 students;
- 2nd place — 37 students;
- 3rd place — 60 students.
In addition, 30 participants were awarded Certificates of Honor by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Team standings:
- 1st place — Tajik National University;
- 2nd place — Kulob State University named after A. Rudaki;
- 3rd place — Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- Honorary place — Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni.
It should be noted that the Olympiad brought together 490 students from 46 higher professional educational institutions. The competition was held in 15 academic subjects across two categories: humanities and natural, exact, and mathematical sciences.
