TSULBP: Strengthening National Identity and Safeguarding Achievements of Independence

А meaningful and important meeting was held in the hall of an Academic Council of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics with participation of the Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region, Zufar Ismoilzoda, and the university’s faculty and staff. The event was actively attended by the rector Sheroz Muminzoda, vice-rectors, heads of departments and divisions, faculty deans, deputy deans, as well as representatives of public organizations.

This meeting was held within the framework of implementation of state policy aimed at strengthening national identity and in anticipation of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as in connection with declaring 2026 as the “Year of Expansion of Beautification and Construction Works and Strengthening National Identity.”

At the beginning of an event, rector Sheroz Muminzoda delivered a speech highlighting university’s significant achievements during the years of independence. It was emphasized that the university is one of the important achievements of the independence period and plays a key role in training highly qualified specialists and contributing to the development of various sectors of country’s economy and social sphere.

Then, the Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region, Zufar Ismoilzoda, shared his views on important issues such as national identity, respect for cultural and historical values, strengthening national unity, and safeguarding achievements of independence. He stressed that increasing political and legal awareness of youth, combating negative phenomena such as extremism and alien influences, and promoting language learning among students are among the top priorities of society.

During the meeting, special attention was also paid to improving the quality of education and upbringing, training competitive personnel, and expanding beautification and construction activities.

At the end of an event, it was emphasized that such meetings contribute to enhancing patriotism, national awareness, and civic responsibility among young people, and play an important role in strengthening the foundations of statehood.
