TSULBP: University Stage of “Furugi Subhi Donoi Kitob Ast” Competition Held

University stage of the republican competition “Furugi Subhi Donoi Kitob Ast” was held among students at scientific library of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, in accordance with the directive of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The competition is organized to promote reading interest, strengthen intellectual potential, identify new talented speakers and eloquent individuals, foster respect for national and cultural values among students, encourage reading habits, and promote the study of the works of great thinkers.

At the beginning of the event, the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Furkat Homidzoda, delivered an opening speech, highlighting cultural and educational importance as well as the prestige of this well-known competition. It was emphasized that, thanks to the initiatives and direct support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, special attention has been given to the development of library science alongside other fields of education and knowledge. Because of these educational policies, in recent years, the fields of library science, education, and knowledge have been steadily developing, and the number of participants in national competitions has been increasing.

According to the competition plan, more than 130 teachers and students from various faculties participated in five nomination categories, demonstrating their talents and skills. Overall, out of more than 130 participants, 58 individuals were selected by the jury to advance to the university stage.

It should be noted that the “Furugi Subhi Donoi Kitob Ast” competition is held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the aim of promoting reading culture, strengthening intellectual capacity, discovering new talents, respecting national and cultural values, and encouraging engagement with literature and works of great thinkers.

The winners of the competition will be determined and awarded.
