TSULBP: Ceremonial Event Dedicated to Mother’s Day
А solemn ceremonial event dedicated to the joyful celebration of Mother’s Day was held at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics. The festive gathering was attended by the university authority, faculty and staff, students, veterans, and representatives of government authorities.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by a rector of the university, Sheroz Muminzoda. He congratulated participants on this sacred holiday and emphasized significant role of women and mothers in strengthening the moral foundations of society, raising a healthy generation, and contributing to the development of the country. Rector noted that a mother is the source of life, the first teacher of every person, and a guiding light for every child.
It was highlighted that Mother’s Day is one of the most sacred and beautiful holidays in Tajik national culture, coinciding with the revival of nature and the beginning of spring. This day symbolizes love, warmth, purity, and devotion, and further emphasizes role of mothers as a source of love and foundation of human upbringing. It was noted that love for the homeland, respect for elders, care for relatives, and a sense of responsibility all begin in a mother’s embrace. Through kindness and selflessness, mothers nurture not only their children but also society as a whole, playing a decisive role in shaping individuals.
It was also emphasized that, thanks to the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the status and role of women in modern Tajik society continue to grow, and favorable conditions are being created for their active participation in all spheres of life.
It was noted that women of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics also make a significant contribution to the development of the institution. Currently, more than 300 women are employed at the university, nearly 100 of whom hold academic degrees. They actively contribute to teaching, research, and educational activities, enhancing the quality of education and scientific work.
