Support for Women at the Core of the Presidential Address

The Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of Nation Emomali Rahmon to the Supreme Assembly, as an important political and social document, defines the main directions of state and societal development, placing special emphasis on the status of women and their role in the progress of society.

In this context, within the framework of the Week of Banking chair, a meaningful meeting entitled “The Leader of Nation’s Address – A Guideline and Support for the Women of the Country” was held with Matluba Muinova’s participation, representative of an Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the city of Khujand and Honorary Citizen of Khujand.

During the event, Matluba Muinova, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Shahnosa Normatova, and chief of Banking Affairs Parvina Boboeva delivered informative presentations on the main directions of the Leader of Nation’s Address. It was emphasized that in his Address, the Leader of Nation paid special attention to the status of women in society, stating: “In our culture and civilization – among Tajiks – respect for women, for Mother, has always held a special place. It should be noted that the status and role of women in building a modern state and developing society have significantly increased during the years of independence.”

It was also noted that since the first days of independence, the state policy of the Republic of Tajikistan has been aimed at supporting women, and today thousands of talented girls are enrolled in primary, secondary, and higher professional educational institutions.

Within the framework of the chair’s week, a training session titled “Personal Energy Management – The Path to Professional Success” was also conducted for teachers and students by the Business Development Director of LLC “Chōjayi Bayzo,” Naimjon Qayumov. The training focused on developing self-management skills and enhancing professional competence.

Additionally, an open lesson on the subject “Banking Activity” titled “The Banking System of the Republic of Tajikistan” was organized and conducted by the assistant of the Banking chair, Ziyoeva Sh.Z., using a dual education approach. Representatives of the branch of the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan “Amonatbank,” the university administration, and faculty members attended the session.

It should be noted that starting from February 2, 2026, the Week of the Banking chair under the title “The Role of the Banking System in the Development of Digital Economy.” Was launched at the university . The opening ceremony was attended by the faculty administration, professors, scholars, and students. An exhibition of achievements, as well as scientific, educational, and methodological works of the chair’s scholars, was organized in the faculty hall.

As part of the week, scientific clubs, theoretical seminars, educational events, and meetings with representatives of the banking sector are planned. These events will continue until February 7, 2026.
