TSULBP: Digital Significance and Prevention of Violence

On December 10, 2025, within the framework of information campaign “16 Days of Activism against Violence,” an educational event titled “Digital Significance and Prevention of Violence” was held at the Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics. The event was attended by the university administration, faculty members, students, as well as leaders and representatives of relevant organizations and institutions.

At the opening of an event, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Shahnoza Normatova, welcomed the guests and expressed her gratitude for their participation. She emphasized that the event was aimed at practical implementation of state policy on family rights, raising the level of legal awareness among young people, strengthening the role of a family, building healthy families, fostering a sense of responsibility in youth, promoting high family values, nurturing patriotism and civic spirit, as well as preventing negative factors and violence.

The meeting featured speeches by Sabohat Bobojonova, Deputy Chairperson of the Public Organization “Women’s Center ‘Gulrukhsor’,” and Nazimjon Rajabov, a representative of the public organization “MIR – Center of Opportunities for Development.” During their speeches, it was noted that the purpose of holding such events is to draw public attention to the issue of violence against women, contribute to enhancing women’s socio-political status and legal awareness, and reduce domestic violence.

The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session and an exchange of views among the participants.
