TSULBP: Collective Viewing of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan
On December 16, 2025, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, delivered his annual Address to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan entitled “On the Main Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic.”
The Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, which serves as a guiding framework for the development of all sectors of the national economy, was collectively viewed with a high sense of responsibility by all staff members, faculty, and students of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics in the assembly halls of five academic buildings, more than one hundred spacious lecture halls and classrooms, library, and Lyceum affiliated with the University.
The delivery of the Address by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli has become a well-established tradition and is regarded as a guiding document for all sectors of a national economy. It is aimed at improving standard and quality of living of the population, enhancing public awareness, ensuring peace and stability in society, strengthening Tajikistan’s international standing, and implementing the country’s strategic goals, including improving socio-economic conditions and reinforcing ideas of peace, stability, and state independence. The Address is characterized by in-depth analysis, well-grounded conclusions, and clearly defined tasks related to the comprehensive development of the country.
In his Address, the Head of State primarily reviewed country’s achievements in recent years, implementation of the most important national strategic goals, development of science and education, economy and healthcare sector, state support for youth and talented women, provision of incentives for entrepreneurs, and improvement of population’s living standards, along with other significant and constructive issues of domestic and foreign policy. The Leader of Nation also outlined specific measures for development of a digital economy, training highly qualified specialists, strengthening the link between science and production, introducing and expanding the use of modern technologies, reinforcing the material and technical base, encouraging innovative activity, widely applying innovative technologies in production, and supporting constructive entrepreneurial initiatives in this area.
Thus, in his Address to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of a Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, defined the main directions of domestic and foreign policy, ensuring economic development, industry, energy, transport, communications, security, law and order, healthcare, culture, science, education, social protection, youth policy, sports, and tourism, and assigned specific tasks to the responsible authorities.
In addition, the Leader of Nation paid primary attention to the education sector, emphasizing that nation-building begins with education, and that investing in education means investing in human capital and prosperous future of the state and the homeland.
Following the Address, the staff, faculty, and students of the university expressed their satisfaction and affirmed their commitment to thoroughly study issues raised in the Address of the Leader of a Nation and to make a worthy contribution to their practical implementation.
