Holding a Judo Competition among Students at TSULBP

Аt the modern Sports Complex of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, a judo competition was held among the university’s students. The event was organized at the initiative of the law faculty, with its main purpose being not only  to promote a healthy lifestyle, but also to prepare young athletes for participation in high-level competitions both within the country and abroad.

The opening ceremony was attended by Master of Sports, Honored Coach of the Republic of Tajikistan Usto Ustopirov, university administration representatives, and faculty leadership. They highlighted university administration’s attention to the development of sports and training of professional athletes. It was noted that university consistently carries out valuable initiatives to involve students in various types of sports and to improve their physical training.

The competition was held in an atmosphere of fair and friendly rivalry, and athletes demonstrated a high level of skill on tatami. After the competition results are finalized, winners and prize-winners will be awarded certificates of appreciation, medals, and commemorative gifts.

The organization of such competitions contributes to formation of a new generation of university athletes and strengthens their role in national and international sporting events.
