TSULBP: Ceremonial Meeting Dedicated to International Volunteer’s Day

Аt the assembly hall of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, a meeting took place with university’s rector, Sheroz Muminzoda, and members of the “Followers of the Leader of the Nation” club, group leaders, winners of contests and sports competitions, recipients of scholarships, and representatives of public organizations, dedicated to Volunteer’s Day.

At the opening of an event, rector Sheroz Muminzoda noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of a Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, has called the youth the pride and honor of Tajikistan, stating: “High national spirit, self-awareness, patriotism, and devotion of our youth to the Motherland, the nation, and the ancestral land are the guarantee of security and peace in society, development of the state, and prosperity of today’s and tomorrow’s independent Tajikistan.”

It was emphasized that young people are the most active part of society, a powerful labor force, and the main guarantor of country’s stability, representing an essential and valuable human resource for the state. Youth and state youth policy have been a priority of the Government’s social agenda since the earliest days of independence.

During the meeting, the rector called on students and group leaders to strengthen language learning and master modern knowledge, to be educated in the spirit of patriotism and self-awareness, to enhance their cultural and intellectual level, to combat superstition, and to avoid adopting foreign customs or being influenced by destructive groups.

Then, Ehsonjon Isoev, head of the Youth Department of an Executive Committee of Khujand, praised activities of the members of the youth organization “Creators of the Motherland,” noting their responsibility and initiative in conducting educational and awareness-raising work.

Abduvosit Gafurov, head of the Youth and Sports Department of Khujand, stated that volunteers, as a reliable force of society, make a valuable contribution to strengthening national ideals, enhancing civic culture, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

In conclusion, active university students — winners of contests and sports competitions, recipients of scholarships, and participants of political, educational, and community events — were honored with certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts from the university administration.
