Next Round of Professional Development Seminars-Trainings for Teachers at TSULBP

At the initiative of the Director of the International “Humanities Program” of the University of Central Asia, Abdulmamad Iloliev, and with the support of the rector of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, Sheroz Muminzoda, a seminar-training titled “Women and Society” was held on November 8–9, 2025.

The event featured the following trainers:

— Advisor to the rector on International Relations, Professor of the Department of Social Sciences, Abdurahim Juraev;

— Specialist of the Humanities Program, Obidkhon Kurbonkhonov;

— Coordinator of the TJSU project at the University of Central Asia, Ikrom Abdulloev;

— Senior Lecturer of Khujand State University named after Academician B. Gafurov, Makhkamboy Karimov.

The rector of TSULBP, Associate Professor Sheroz Muminzoda, officially opened the seminar, reminding participants of continuous efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, aimed at strengthening the role of women in society. He emphasized that enhancing the status of women and involving them in public administration is among the most important priorities to which special attention is paid in Tajikistan’s free and democratic society. State support for women and girls has been a central aspect of national policy since the early years of independence and has yielded significant results.

Sheroz Muminzoda stressed that such activities contribute to improving professional skills of teachers and enhancing the quality of education.

During the seminar, participants exchanged views on the role of women in the development of modern society, their importance in family life, science, culture, economy, and public policy.

Teachers of humanities from TSULBP and Khujand State University named after Academician B. Gafurov also took part in the seminar-training. As a result, 35 teachers improved their professional skills and received certificates.

The successful organization of this event demonstrates that cooperation between the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics and the Humanities Program of the University of Central Asia is growing stronger  year by year and will continue to yield significant results.
