TSULBP: Fostering Patriotism among Citizens — A Factor in Strengthening Foundations of National Statehood

On November 2025, at the Innovative Technologies and Accounting, Political Science and International Relations faculties of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, a regular meeting between representatives of an Executive Body of State Authority of Sughd region and students was held.

The meeting was dedicated to the theme “Fostering Patriotism among Citizens — A Factor in Strengthening Foundations of National Statehood.” The event featured speeches by:

— deputy rector for Student Affairs, Shahnоза Normatova;

— deputy head of Youth and Sports department of Sughd region, Abdullozoda Abdujamil;

— head of the Information Department of the Regional Center for Formation of a Healthy Lifestyle, Nazokat Ibragimova;

— Imam-khatib of the Burkhi Mosque of Yova Jamoat, Ikromjon Sharipov.

It was emphasized that fostering patriotism and a sense of civic responsibility is one of the most important factors in strengthening foundations of national statehood. Speakers noted that youth, as a constructive force of society, must actively contribute to preserving and developing national values, strengthening peace and unity, and supporting state independence.

During the meeting, students also asked questions, made suggestions, and shared their views on the role of young people in the progress of modern society.

In conclusion, it was noted that continuous cooperation between state bodies and higher education institutions contributes to upbringing of an aware and patriotic generation, strengthening foundations of national statehood, and ensuring sustainable development of society.
