State University of Law, Business and Policy of Tajikistan: Scientific-Theoretical Conference “Ethical World of Mawlono and Issues of Human Education”

Honoring the work and struggle, as well as precious legacy of famous figures in science, literature, and poetry, originates from the cultural and educational policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Honorable Leader of Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. It is considered important for the expansion of culture and spirituality in society, education of present and future generations, preservation of historical memory, and rich ancestral culture.

As the head of State emphasizes, “The great mystic Mawlono Balkhi is famous with his universal poetry throughout the East and the West, and his poems and philosophical thoughts are read with great enthusiasm by people of all ages and genders, regardless of religion, creed, or worldview.” It is precisely in honor of personality and immortal works of this genius of the Tajik nation that the Day of Mawlono Jaloliddin Balkhi is celebrated annually on September 30th in the country with great solemnity.

On this occasion, on September 30, 2025, in the assembly hall of educational building №2, at the initiative Tajik language chair and university’s scientific library, a scientific-theoretical conference titled “Ethical World of Mawlono and Issues of Human Education” was held dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Mawlono Jaloliddin Balkhi.

The conference was opened by the vice-rector for Science and Innovation, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Furqat Homidzoda, who elaborated on the significance of honoring this distinguished poet and philosopher, as well as the role of his immortal works in spiritual and moral education of humanity.

Then the chief of Tajik language chair, Associate Professor Rustamov Sh.R., Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the department of Classical Literature of MDT “State University named after Academician Bobojon Ghafurov” Sharifjon Tojiboev, and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of MDT “State University named after Academician Bobojon Ghafurov” Halimjon Zoirov spoke about the life and works of a poet, assessing very effectively and importantly educational, artistic, and moral ideas of Mawlono Jaloliddin Balkhi’s legacy.

At the end of an event, students recited excerpts from an outstanding poems of a great poet.
