Holding International Scientific-Practical Conference titled “Pressing Issues of Modern Mathematics” at TSULBP

On September 27, 2025, an International Scientific-Practical Conference titled “Pressing Issues of Modern Mathematics” was held at the State University of Law, Business and Politics of Tajikistan, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Twenty-Year Study and Development of Natural, Exact, and Mathematical Sciences in the Field of Education and Science, and 50th anniversary of a scientific and pedagogical activity of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Yodgor Mukhsinov.

Representatives of the Executive Authority of Sughd Region, experienced scientists, specialists in the field, university professors, and guests participated in the conference.

At the beginning, the vice-rector for Science and Innovation, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Furqat Khomidzoda delivered a speech welcoming the guests and participants of the conference. He noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon pays special attention to the development of exact sciences, as rapid progress in science and technology is impossible without the usage of mathematical methods. This attention from the Head of State demands educational institutions to make greater efforts to study exact sciences. One of the important tasks of higher education institutions in the country is to raise the level and quality of education, study and develop natural, exact, and mathematical sciences, and thereby prepare specialists who meet the demands of modern times. At the same time, Professor Yodgor Mukhsinov was congratulated on the 50th anniversary of his fruitful activity and his valuable contributions to the development of science and training of highly qualified scientific personnel. His contribution to advancement of science and economy of the region and the republic was highly appreciated.

It was emphasized that the goal of the conference is to exchange ideas for finding solutions to problems in the methodology of teaching exact, natural, and mathematical sciences, to define prospects for the development of higher education, to achieve ultimate goals such as preparing competitive specialists in a labor market, increasing competence of specialists in the field of education, improving the level and quality of education in higher education institutions, and appreciating contribution of experienced professors, including Professor Yodgor Mukhsinov, in the development and progress of society.
