TSULBP: University Presidency Scholarship Competition Held

In honor of Youth Day of Tajikistan, on May 15, 2025, the final round of  University Presidency Scholarship competition for the second semester of 2024–2025 academic year was held at Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics.

The opening ceremony of the competition was attended by the university’s vice-rector for educational affairs, associate professor Shahnоza Normatova. In her speech, she emphasized that the main goal of a competition is to support and encourage talented, knowledgeable, patriotic, and self-aware youth.

The vice-rector called on the members of evaluation committee to pay special attention to fairness and transparency during the assessment process.

A total of 70 finalists — winners of the first stage from all faculties, as well as  master’s, doctoral, and university lyceum divisions — took part in the final round. The committee evaluated participants based on criteria such as self-presentation, knowledge of foreign languages, political and legal literacy, professional competence, and active participation in public life.

The purpose of competition is to identify and reward students, master’s and doctoral candidates who have achieved significant academic success and made valuable contributions to the university’s community life.

According to regulations, the first stage of competition was held at the faculty level, and the best candidates were selected to advance to the final round.
