Strengthening Cooperation between TSULBP and Higher Institutions of the Russian Federation
On May 1, 2025, Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics was visited by the scientific director of the Republican Scientific Institute of Intellectual Property of Russian Federation, Doctor of Law, Professor Vladimir Nikolaevich Lopatin, and representatives of the National Patent and Information Center of the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by Deputy Director Parviz Abdurakhimovich Rajabzoda.
The purpose of a visit was to introduce opportunities of the Republican Scientific Institute of Intellectual Property of Russian Federation in cooperation with National Patent and Information Center of the Republic of Tajikistan and to plan future collaborations in the fields of artificial intelligence, intellectual property, and technological parks.
The guests were welcomed by the vice-rector for International Relations, Doctor of Economics, Professor Rizozoda T.R., who mentioned that university is actively developing cooperation with institutions and organizations working on relevant issues, such as artificial intelligence, both internationally and within the republic.
It should be noted that development of artificial intelligence was specifically emphasized in the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan as one of the priority areas of country’s scientific and educational policy. The Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics, being one of the leading higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, has taken concrete steps to implement this direction in line with the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
In particular, university plans to establish units related to the study and research of artificial intelligence, develop curricula that meet modern requirements, attract specialists, and expand scientific and practical cooperation with leading international institutions. These measures contribute to increasing university’s competitiveness and ensuring sustainable development of human resources in the Republic of Tajikistan.
