Organization and Conduct of University Round of the “The Light of Knowledge is a Book” Competition at TSULBP

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 2, 2025, No. AP-709, under the patronage of the President, the competition “The Light of Knowledge is a Book” is being held among various segments of society, including students of all educational levels and citizens of the country.

The competition aims to enhance the reading culture, strengthen intellectual capacity, discover new orators and speakers, honor national and cultural values, engage students in reading, and promote the study of great authors’ works.

Based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the university administration has taken necessary measures and, according to an approved event plan, organized and conducted competition among students of university faculties. To familiarize participants with the Decree and Competition Regulations, promotional activities have been carried out, including posting announcements on the university’s official and social media platforms, installing billboards in educational buildings and faculties, etc.

Simultaneously, a preparatory meeting for participants of the city round of competition was held at the university’s library. Students actively participated and highlighted their talents and skills. In total, among all the participants of a competition, which included 40 students and 9 teachers, the jury assessed their performances, and over 10 students and 5 teachers were awarded certificates to advance to the city round of the competition.
