International scientific and methodological conference entitled “International accreditation – a factor for improving the quality of education” in TSULBP

On September 30, 2020, in accordance with the plan of scientific and technical events in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2020, in coordination with the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Tajikistan, an International scientific and methodological conference entitled “International accreditation – a factor for improving the quality of education” was held at the Tajik state university of law, business and politics. The international conference was held online and was attended by scientists and specialists from foreign higher education institutions, as well as representatives of scientific centers of the Russian Federation, EU and Kazakhstan accreditation agencies.
Before the start of the online conference, the Vice-rector for international relations of TSULBP, doctor of economics, professor Davron Babajanov, welcomed and thanked the participants and guests for their active participation in the conference.
Then, on behalf of the rector of the Tajik state university of law, business and politics, doctor of economics, professor Sharifzoda Mumin Mashokir, Vice-rector for science and innovative development of TSULBP, doctor of economics, professor Rizokulov Turakul Rabbimkulovich made a welcoming speech.
The next speaker was the head of the center for science and culture of Russia in Dushanbe, Ivan Sergeevich Ivanov. in his speech, he thanked the administration of the Tajik state university of law, business and politics for the fruitful cooperation and assistance in organizing and conducting international events, indicating a strong and mutually beneficial relationship between the Center for science and culture of Russia and the Tajik state university of law, business and politics
Further speakers were: Diana Freiberger, head of the Foundation for accreditation of international business and administrative programs (FIBAA) from Germany, with a report on “International accreditation in the Central Asian region: approaches and prospects”, Alina Zhumagulova -Director of the Independent Agency for accreditation and rating, PhD candidate of law from the Republic of Kazakhstan on “International accreditation in Central Asia”, Maxim Ponomarev – dean of the Russian University of Economics named after V.G. Plekhanov management faculty, PhD candidate of economics, associate professor, on the topic “Advantages of international accreditation for higher education institutions during their entry into the world educational space”, Vice-rector for international relations of TSULBP, doctor of economics, professor Babajanov Davron Dadajanovich on the topic “Employment is an important indicator of the quality of higher education”.
It was noted that the practice of reputable universities in the world proves that one of the factors for improving the quality of education in the world is the organization and conduct of international accreditation of educational programs and specialties. International accreditation has many advantages, such as ensuring the quality of educational programs, the competitiveness of higher education institutions and the recognition of the diploma of institutions of the Republic in other countries.
During the meeting, the sides noted with satisfaction the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the expansion of mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation.
