TSULBP: Presentation of Trade Union Scholarships to Students
On May 26, 2026, a grand national-level event was held at Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics with participation of Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan, members of the academic staff, students, and numerous guests.
The event was attended by Zulhiya Nozakzoda, chairperson of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan; Musobek Samizoda, chairperson of Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Sughd Province; University administration, faculty members, staff, and students.
The event focused on issues of student social support, awarding of incentive scholarships, and strengthening of cooperation between Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics and the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers. It was conducted in a solemn and festive atmosphere.
Opening the event, rector Sheroz Muminzoda welcomed guests and expressed gratitude for fruitful cooperation and continuous support provided to education sector. It was emphasized that organizing such important social and educational events reflects attention of the State and Government to the development of education, support for youth, and social protection.
It was noted that education- and youth-oriented policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, have created a solid foundation for providing favorable learning conditions, supporting talented young people, and training highly qualified professionals.
Special attention was also given to the social support of orphaned students, students from low-income families, and talented and active youth. These issues remain among the priorities of University administration, and concrete measures are consistently implemented in this regard.
Speakers highly emphasized the role of Trade Union of Education and Science Workers as an important public institution dedicated to protecting teachers and students social and labor rights. It was noted that mutually beneficial cooperation between University and Trade Union has been established at a high level and encompasses a wide range of joint initiatives.
Among the key areas of cooperation highlighted were establishment of incentive scholarships, social support for students in need, organization of competitions, scientific conferences, cultural and educational programs, and sporting events.
During the ceremonial part of an event, scholarships and social assistance were awarded to a number of active and financially disadvantaged students. It was emphasized that such initiatives serve not only as a form of financial support but also as a sign of care and confidence in younger generation, contributing to the development of responsibility, patriotism, and a strong commitment to learning.
At the conclusion of an event, appreciation was expressed to the authority of Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan and Sughd Province for their fruitful cooperation and special attention to social concerns of teachers and students.
The event was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect, and participants expressed their readiness to further expansion of cooperation aimed at advancing education and nurturing a well-educated and socially responsible younger generation.
