Management Accounting in the Digital Economy

On May 18, 2026 the Department of Accounting of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics organized a scientific seminar entitled “Management Accounting in the Digital Economy.”

Opening the seminar, the Head of the Department, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Professor Dalerjon Dadomatov, introduced the topic of the event and presented the keynote speaker, Professor Samarddin Nizomov, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Professor of the chief of Economic Analysis and Audit chair at the Tajik National University.

The seminar also featured a presentation by Professor T. R. Rizozoda, Vice-Rector for International Relations, who addressed issues related to the digitalization of the economy, implementation of “Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040,” and initiatives carried out within the framework of the Years of Digital Economy and Innovation Development.

During the seminar, participants discussed the development of management accounting in the context of the digital economy, the use of information technologies, the formation of a digital environment, and their impact on accounting, analytical, and auditing systems.

It was emphasized that the digital transformation of the economy requires professionals in the field to acquire new knowledge, competencies, and digital skills in order to operate effectively in modern economic conditions.
