Round Table Held on “Insurance as a Factor of Reliable Social Protection”

The Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics hosted a round table entitled “Insurance as a Factor of Reliable Social Protection.” The event was organized by the Banking chair of the Finance and Taxation faculty.

The round table was attended by department heads, faculty members, students, and representatives of banking and insurance organizations.

The event opened with welcoming remarks by Associate Professor Alimamad Safarov, Head of the chair of Theory of Economic, who greeted the guests and expressed his appreciation for their participation. In his speech, he emphasized that insurance, as one of the key pillars of both economy and social sphere, serves as a reliable means of protecting society. In modern conditions, insurance plays a crucial role in ensuring financial stability and safeguarding interests of citizens and organizations. A strong insurance system enhances public confidence in the future by providing dependable protection against potential risks.

The invited speakers included Dalerjon Yunusov, Director of LLC “Eskhata Sugurta” Insurance Organization, Malohat Mansurova, company’s accountant, and Amirjon Olimov, company’s software engineer.

In their presentations, guests noted that under the current legal and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan, legal regulation of entrepreneurial activity in the insurance services sector occupies a particularly important place. Insurance plays a vital role in the economy of every country and is one of the primary mechanisms for protecting against financial risks arising from unforeseen events. Overall, the development of an insurance system is essential and timely for ensuring security, stability, and sustainable social development.
