TSULBP: University Rectorate Scholarship Competition Held
On May 19, 2026, Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics (TSULBP) held University Rectorate Scholarship Competition aimed at encouraging and strengthening professional, political, and academic knowledge of students and master’s degree candidates.
The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of University, Sheroz Muminzoda, who congratulated all participants on the occasion of Youth Day of Tajikistan. In his remarks, he emphasized that today special attention and care are being devoted to young people, and that the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, creates favorable conditions for the education, development, and self-realization of the country’s future generation.
The rector stressed that young people should contribute meaningfully to strengthening foundations of national statehood through strong knowledge, intellectual capacity, natural talents and abilities, legal and political awareness, constructive initiatives, professional skills, and a high sense of responsibility, patriotism, and national identity.
He also called upon the members of competition committee to ensure maximum transparency and fairness in evaluating participants.
According to the program, competition is held over two days and involves students and master’s degree candidates who won the first-stage selection rounds at the University’s faculties and Graduate Studies Department.
The evaluation criteria include self-presentation, foreign language proficiency, political and legal knowledge, professional expertise, and participation in social and public activities.
The University Rectorate Scholarship Competition was established to identify and encourage talented students, master’s degree candidates, and doctoral students who have achieved outstanding academic results, actively participated in public activities, and contributed to enhancing the reputation and prestige of the University.
In accordance with the competition regulations, the initial selection process was conducted at the faculty level, after which the best candidates were nominated for the final round.
The main objective of the competition is to identify talented, active, capable, and initiative-driven students.
