EXPANDING TSULBP’S INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION WITH CHINESE UNIVERSITIES

From May 13 to 16, 2026, Komiljon Sharipov, Head of the Strategic Cooperation and International Relations department at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics (TSULBP), Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor, participated in the International Forum “Public Administration and Sustainable Development: China–Central Asia Dialogue” in the People’s Republic of China. His participation was based on an official invitation from Lanzhou University and with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan’ s approval.

The forum brought together more than 150 representatives of higher education institutions from Central Asian countries and China, who discussed development of an academic and research cooperation as well as academic exchange programs.

Within the framework of a forum, Associate Professor Komiljon Sharipov held productive meetings with leaders and representatives of Lanzhou University and other Chinese higher education institutions. Discussions focused on faculty and student exchanges, implementation of joint research projects, and expansion of international cooperation.

The university representative also delivered a presentation at the plenary session on the topic: “The Experience of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics in Academic Exchange Activities.”

As part of the working visit, a meeting was held with the Faculty of Law of Lanzhou University, during which the parties reached agreements on strengthening cooperation, organizing joint educational programs, and promoting academic mobility in 2026.

It is worth noting that TSULBP signed a cooperation agreement with Lanzhou University earlier this year. This agreement became university’s fourteenth cooperation agreement with higher education institutions of the People’s Republic of China.
