Meeting of Representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan with University Teachers and Students

A meeting was held in the conference hall of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics between researchers of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and the university’s faculty members and students. The participants from the Academy included Bobojonzoda Isrofil Huseyn, Doctor of Law and Head of the Department of Theoretical Issues of Modern State and Law at the Institute of State and Law, and Qodirzoda Tohir Qamar, Doctor of Law and Senior Research Fellow of the same department. The event was actively attended by vice-rectors, heads of departments and divisions, faculty deans, deputy deans, as well as leaders of public organizations.

The meeting was organized with the aim of strengthening educational and awareness-raising activities among the population, especially adolescents and youth, and in accordance with the Action Plan of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the implementation of the Civic Education and Upbringing Program for 2026–2030.

At the beginning of the event, the University’s Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Shahnoza Normatova, delivered an opening speech and introduced the guests to the audience.

Afterwards, Bobojonzoda Isrofil Huseyn, Head of the Department of Theoretical Issues of Modern State and Law at the Institute of State and Law and Doctor of Law, along with Qodirzoda Tohir Qamar, Senior Research Fellow of the same department and Doctor of Law, spoke about enhancing the legal and civic awareness of society, explaining the content of the messages of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and clarifying the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Responsibility for the Education and Upbringing of Children” and “On the Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies.”

During the meeting, special attention was also paid to issues such as the prevention of juvenile delinquency, combating extremism and terrorism, fighting corruption, and the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

At the conclusion of an event, it was emphasized that such useful meetings and discussions contribute to strengthening patriotism, national identity, self-awareness, and civic responsibility among young people, while also playing an important role in reinforcing the foundations of national statehood.
