TSULBP: Job Fair and Exhibition-Sale of Domestic Products Held
Оn April 29, 2026, Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, on the initiative of university administration and in cooperation with the Directorate of Agency for Labor and Employment of the Population of Sughd region, financial institutions, manufacturing and trade enterprises, and mobile companies, organized a job fair and an exhibition-sale of products made by domestic enterprises.
The event was organized with the aim of enhancing students’ professional skills and providing employment opportunities for graduates, dedicated to 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region Anvar Yaqubi, the Head of Directorate of Labor and Employment of the Population of Sughd Region Ghayrat Oqilzoda, the Head of the Directorate for Youth and Sports of Sughd Region Bakhtiyor Ismatzoda, representative of the Executive Committee of People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Khujand Bahodurkhon Bakhtiyorzoda, Head of the Retail Banking Department of Eskhata Bank Mubinjon Qodirov, and other guests.
At the beginning of an event, the guests visited exhibition booths presented by banking institutions, mobile companies, and displays featuring traditional handicrafts and products manufactured by domestic enterprises, including Matin, Arvand Bank, Eskhata Bank, Imon International, Humo Bank, International Bank of Tajikistan in Khujand, Commerce Bank of Tajikistan, Alif Bank, Tavhidbank, Spitamen Bank, Vasl Bank, Indigo Tajikistan, Fayzi Rasul LLC, Zuhal LLC, Himus LLC, Daleron LLC, Farovon-1 LLC, Farkhunda LLC, Porsoi Khujand LLC, Sarmoi Sughdiyon JSC, Ozoda Cosmetics LLC, Amiri LLC, Shohshir LLC, Tajprof LLC, Afzali Sughd LLC, Nasibi Shirin LLC, Kabiri Khujand LLC, Sanginov Saadi LLC, Amid LLC, and the Food Safety Supply Center of Khujand.
The event was officially opened by the rector of the University, Sheroz Muminzoda, who welcomed participants on behalf of the university administration and staff. In his speech, he emphasized that, under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of Nation and President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, youth-related issues remain among the state’s top priorities, and providing employment opportunities for population and graduates is one of the key objectives of the Government.
Fortunately, today, thanks to the support of the Head of State and leaders of various institutions, talented young people are being supported and provided with decent employment opportunities, contributing to their advancement and success.
Every year, at the university initiative and in cooperation with the Directorate of an Agency of Labor and Employment of the Population of Sughd region, financial institutions, manufacturing and trade enterprises, job fairs are organized to develop students’ professional competencies and facilitate graduate employment.
The university administration currently maintains cooperation agreements with more than 230 enterprises and organizations to improve internship opportunities and provide graduates with permanent employment. It is worth noting that within the framework of such cooperation, modern educational methods, innovative technologies, professional development courses, training sessions, and practical seminars involving employers have been introduced at the university. In addition, establishment of more than 20 professional development centers within partner institutions has become an important step in enhancing students’ professional skills and employability.
During the event, several officials and representatives of organizations, including Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region Anvar Yaqubi and the Head of the Retail Banking Department of Eskhata Bank Mubinjon Qodirov, highlighted importance and timeliness of organizing such a fair for job seekers, especially graduates. Fourth-year full-time student majoring in Banking, Firdavs Karimov, also expressed gratitude to the university administration and Eskhata Bank for providing him with permanent employment during his internship.
More than 100 enterprises and organizations participated in the fair, offering over 1,200 job vacancies. As a result, more than 80 individuals received employment referrals. Proposed salaries ranged from 1,000 to 5,000 somoni.
Holding such fairs has become a longstanding tradition at TSULBP and is organized annually with the broad participation of partner enterprises and organizations.
At the end of the event, leaders and representatives of government bodies, organizations, and partner institutions were awarded certificates of appreciation by the university administration for their active cooperation and participation.
