Participation of TSULBP Students in International Competitions

From April 20 to 24 of this year, three students of the Law Faculty majoring in International Law and studying in English-language groups, under the supervision of Associate Professor of the Business and International Law chair Manzura Homidova, participated in the F. F. Martens International Humanitarian Law Competition. The competition was organized by the CBSS with informational and financial support from the CBSS Representative Office in the Republic of Tajikistan and was held in Moscow, Russian Federation.

It should be noted that competition brought together leading universities from the Commonwealth of Independent States, including Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan. Students from 16 universities and institutes took part in the event.

Teams that achieved the highest scores advanced to the next stage, which was held in Moscow.

It is a matter of pride that students of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics достойно represented Tajik legal academic community and were awarded diplomas for their active participation, which will significantly contribute to their professional development as future legal specialists.

Participation of university students in such international competitions is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and university administration. Such initiatives contribute to strengthening academic and educational ties, expanding international cooperation, and enhancing students’ scientific and creative potential.

Rector of the university, Sheroz Muminzoda, congratulated the students on this remarkable achievement and wished them continued success in their future academic and professional endeavors.

It should also be mentioned that in previous years, university students actively participated in international competitions and achieved honorable results.
