At the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, a ceremony was held to award certificates to winners of the Rector’s Scholarship competition. The event was attended by Rector of the university, vice-rectors, and deans of faculties.

Rector of the university, Sheroz Muminzoda, emphasized that organizing such competitions plays an important role in supporting and encouraging talented, educated, patriotic, and self-aware youth. He noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has repeatedly described youth as a source of national pride, stating that “a high sense of national identity, patriotism, and loyalty to the homeland and nation are key guarantees of social stability, state development, and prosperity of independent Tajikistan.”

Rector also added that, following the guidance of the Leader of the Nation, young people today should contribute meaningfully to strengthening statehood by possessing strong knowledge, intellectual abilities, natural talents, legal and political awareness, initiative, creativity, and a high sense of responsibility and patriotism.

It should be noted that, in order to encourage and enhance professional and political knowledge of students, master’s students, and doctoral candidates, competition for Rector’s Scholarship was conducted in several stages: initially within academic groups, faculties, and graduate and doctoral departments. In the final stage, the competition committee evaluated participants based on self-presentation, language proficiency, political and legal knowledge, professional competence, and participation in social activities.

According to conclusions of the committee, those candidates who achieved the highest scores were awarded Rector’s Scholarship for the 2025–2026 academic year.

All winners were ceremoniously presented with certificates of Rector’s Scholarship by the university Rector.
