Academic Exchange and Its Implementation at the University
Within the framework of expanding international cooperation and implementing the strategy for development of foreign relations at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, an “Academic Exchange” program is being implemented on a regular basis. The main goal of the program is to create favorable conditions for professional development, improving knowledge, and strengthening professional skills of students and teachers in reputable foreign higher education institutions.
Within this program, university’s teachers and students have an opportunity to study and undertake internships at leading universities around the world. This process contributes to improving the quality of education, broadening perspectives, and strengthening scientific and research cooperation.
Today, the rector of the university, Sheroz Muminzoda, held a meeting with nine students who had studied for six months at the University of Gdańsk in the Republic of Poland through the academic exchange program and have now returned to their homeland. During the meeting, the rector paid attention to the results of their studies, the experience they gained, and their impressions, emphasizing the important role of such programs in training competitive specialists.
It was noted that students’ participation in international exchange programs creates favorable conditions for improving theoretical knowledge, expanding practical skills, and gaining advanced educational experience. It was also emphasized that nine more students will soon travel to the same university to continue their studies.
In addition, within the framework of cooperation agreements, university students are continuing their studies at prestigious universities in China, South Korea, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
“Academic Exchange” program, as one of the priority areas of the university’s international activities, contributes to the development of intellectual potential, strengthening partnership relations, and enhancing university’s reputation on the international stage.
