Visit of the University Rector to the Dormitory of TSULBP and Meeting with Students

On January 7, 2026, a constructive meeting and discussion was held at the dormitory of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics with the participation of the University Rector, aimed at explaining the content of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Majlisi Oli.

At the beginning of the event, the Rector of the University, Sheroz Muminzoda, together with the Vice Rector for Educational Affairs, Shahnoza Normatova, visited students’ living rooms, dormitory library, and dining room. They became closely acquainted with the living conditions, observance of cleanliness standards, and internal discipline. During the visit, specific instructions and recommendations were given to responsible structural units to improve living conditions, ensure a favorable learning environment, and enhance students’ sense of responsibility.

Subsequently, a meeting was held between a Rector and dormitory residents, during which Sheroz Muminzoda delivered a speech on the content of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to Majlisi Oli. Rector recalled the continuous attention and support of the Head of State toward young people and emphasized that an Address, as an important political document, defining main directions of the country’s socio-economic development and plays a key role in strengthening national security, national unity, and social cohesion.

It was noted that implementation of goals and objectives outlined in the Address requires a high level of political and social responsibility from every citizen, especially young people. In this context, special attention was given to encouraging youth participation in science and education, enhancing political and legal awareness, strengthening national self-awareness and identity, and preserving and honoring national values.

The Rector called on students to make effective use of opportunities and conditions provided, manage their time purposefully, pursue modern knowledge, professions, and skills, and make a worthy contribution to the processes of development and nation-building. At the same time, emphasis was placed on the need to combating negative phenomena, strengthening patriotism, learning foreign languages, and active participation in national and international competitions and academic olympiads.

At the conclusion of the meeting, students expressed their commitment to continuously strive to improve their level of knowledge, safeguard state values, uphold national traditions and customs, and honor achievements of the period of independence.
