Dear professors and beloved students!
I congratulate you with great honor sincerity and profound respect on one of the most precious and sacred state holidays — the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, and I wish each of you and your families strong health, happiness, well-being, and outstanding success.
The State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan, which during the years of independence has become a symbol of unity, solidarity, national pride and honor, embodies the rich history of Tajik statehood, our great cultural, literary and spiritual heritage, as well as creative aspirations of our people. Each color and element of this sacred symbol carries deep historical and philosophical meaning.
The red color reminds us of a heroism and courage of our ancestors, who for centuries struggled to protect territorial integrity of the Motherland, strengthen statehood, and preserve national values.
The white color symbolizes pure and constructive intentions, peace and stability, friendship and solidarity, and the ideals of a nation that regards peace as a great spiritual value.
The green color reflects beautiful nature of our beloved country and our firm determination to build a prosperous future for our ancestral land.
The golden crown and seven stars represent statehood, national self-awareness, prosperity, and the constant efforts of the Tajik people toward progress and new achievements.
Today, as the Republic of Tajikistan confidently advances economic, social, scientific-technological and cultural spheres, the National Flag serves each citizen as a key factor of self-awareness and identity, a symbol of national unity and stability, and a source of pride and responsibility. It calls upon us to safeguard the achievements of independence, preserve peace, and work sincerely for the development of the Motherland.
The Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, following the wise and visionary policy of an esteemed Leader of Nation, Emomali Rahmon, strengthens its efforts to prepare competitive, educated, cultured and patriotic specialists. We are proud that the university has become one of the important centers of higher education, providing talented youth with broad scientific, methodological, creative and organizational opportunities, as well as a healthy educational environment. Under the State Flag — the symbol of honor, loyalty and responsibility — hundreds of our students and young people are reaching new heights and contributing to the prosperity of our beloved Tajikistan.
Taking this opportunity, I express my sincere gratitude to all respected professors, staff members and students of the university, as well as all those who contribute to scientific and educational mission of our institution.
On National Flag Day, I wish that under this sacred symbol you always live with a sense of national pride and constructive thinking.
