Scientific Conference on the Topic “Independence is the Greatest Gift of Statehood”
On September 5, 2024, a scientific conference entitled “Independence is the greatest gift of statehood” was held in the assembly hall of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The rector, vice-rectors, heads of chairs, deans of faculties, heads of departments and professor staff and teachers of the university took part in the conference.
At the beginning, the rector of the university, doctor of economic sciences Hoshimzoda Hamid Hasan and the head of social and public relations department of Sughd region Tojiboy Sultani spoke and congratulated participants on the occasion of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and considered the topic of the conference significant.
It was expressed that it is a source of great pride and happiness that thanks to Independence, the society of Tajikistan is in agreement with an ever-increasing achievements, and solidarity, sympathy, peace and harmony which became the steps of the people.
With gratitude for this invaluable public gift and a tribute to high national culture, the Founder of peace and National unity, the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali emphasizes:
“We have a nation that considers independence and freedom to be a sign of efforts and struggles of thousands of their noble, honorable, courageous and zealous children, and mobilizes all their efforts and endeavors for the sake of preserving and sustaining this precious gift.”
Today, every citizen of our independent country is a direct witness of the most important stages of development, formation and improvement of various sectors of the national economy of our country.
In this process, important for the life of the state and the formation of the society, the role and contribution of the intellectuals of the country, including teachers and professors of country high professional education institutions, is very important and decisive.
Independence has created an opportunity for our society, that the Government of the country will implement worthy measures in solving issues related to present and future of the country, and give a new peak to construction and creativity.
The conference continued according to the program, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor, head of history and religion department Hamidova Manzura on the topic “The role of state independence in construction of a new state of Tajiks”, candidate of juridical sciences, head of the department of theory, history of the state and law, associate professor Kadirzoda Mirzokadir on the topic “Development of legislation in the era of state independence: current state and prospects” and PhD candidate Komilov Mirzokomil on the topic “The role of strategic goals in strengthening political independence of Tajikistan” gave comprehensive reports.
In the end, the rector of the university, Homid Hoshimzoda, sincerely welcomed honored guests for their visit to the center of science and knowledge and wished them success in their public and private activities.
