Promotion of University International Cooperation within the framework of Fulbright Program
On August 31, 2024, at the initiative of an international relations department and with direct support of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics rector, according to prestigious international Fulbright program (Fulbright specialist program), Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor John Shchembari from Fordham University, USA, for development of international cooperation of our university and HPE visited Tajikistan. The guest was received by the university rector, doctor of economic sciences H.H. Hоshimzoda and vice-rectors and responsible persons was welcomed. During the fruitful meeting, issues of development of university international relations in the direction of improving teachers’ qualifications, to enter TOP-1000 HPEs of the country were discussed.
Professor John Shchembari expressed his gratitude to the rector of the university for his warm welcome and promised to contribute to improvement of quality of education, pedagogical skills of university teachers and exchange of experience.
One-month working trip of Professor John Shchembari includes trainings, master-classes, presentations on participation in Fulbright, Erasmus+ international programs, round tables and meetings with teachers and students.
It should be reminded that in 2023, university signed an agreement with an Aegean University of the Republic of Greece, so that university teachers could participate in this program.
In particular, on 01.09.2024, the vice rector for science and innovation, doctor of economic sciences, professor Babajoniyan D.D. made a business trip to Aegean University of the Republic of Greece in order to participate in Erasmus+ international program.
According to an Erasmus+ international project between Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics and Poland university, concluding of an agreement is under consideration for an international academic exchange of teachers and students of our university.
The State University of Law, Business and Politics of Tajikistan supports instructions of an Honorable Leader of the Nation on expansion of international cooperation and makes a significant contribution to its development.
