 SHARIFZODA MUMIN MASHOKIR
Rector of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, Doctor of Economics, Professor

Sharifzoda Mumin Mashokir was born on April 16, 1965 in Pongoz village of Asht district of Sughd region. In 1982 having finished secondary school he started his activity as a rank-and-file worker in the state-farm after the XXV-th Congress of CPSU, in 1983 he was drafted into the army.
Having terminated his service (1983-1985) he entered the Cooperative special secondary school of consumers’ cooperation of Leninabad oblast and finished it in 1987 having obtained a distinction diploma of excellence. He was recommended for continuing his professional education in a higher educational establishment dealing with consumers’ cooperation.
In 1987 he was enrolled into Novosibirsk Institute of Soviet cooperative trade. In 1991 he graduated from high school on the specialty “Commodity Research and Organization of Food Stuffs Trade”. After graduation he began to work as an assisstant at the department of management and marketing of Dushanbe branch attached to Novosibirsk Institute of Soviet cooperative trade.
In 1991 he becomes a full-time post-graduate student of Siberian commercial academy of consumers’ cooperation (Novosibirsk). In 1994 he defended the candidacy dissertation on the theme “Commercial Activity of Consumers’ Cooperation at Food Stuffs Market”.
1997-1998 – Associate Professor of marketing department of TSU LBP.
1998-2005 – chief of the department of commerce and law of the branch of Tajik State University of commerce (TSUC).
In 2002 he was conferred a title of an Associate Professor of the department of marketing and commerce.
2005-2008 – vice-rector of TSUC of Khujand branch.
In 2008 with the resolution of Tajikistan Republic Government he had been appointed a rector of the Tajik State University of Commerce where he worked up to March 2017.
In 2011 he defended a doctoral dissertation at the Dissertational Council under Siberian University of consumers’ cooperation; in 2012 he was given a degree of Dr. of Economics.
With the resolution of Tajik Republic Government from March 15, 2017 Sharifzoda Mumin Mashokir was appointed a rector of TSU LBP.
Dr. of Economics, chairman of the Dissertational Council on defense of candidacy dissertations under index диссертатсионии 6D.КОА-023 on specialty 08.00.05 – Economics and Management; academician of International Cooperation Academy, corresponding member of IAOS corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.
Sharifzoda Mumin Mashokir played a pivotal role in implementation of credit system education and the process of entering into common education space, is a member of European TEMPUS project “Strategy of University Management” and participant of consul working group. He is also a participant of approving multilateral agreements in the sphere of university international relation promotion and establishment of university net with world universities.
Sharifzoda M.M. as the head of several country high establishments has fulfilled tasks, duties and decrees of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, particularly propaganded his speeches before Majlisi Oli of Tajik Republic about social development and public relations. The social development and relation with society issues are guidance of his activity, he is constantly in close link with infrastructures, university staff and students.
In this process, he works and is working in thriving of technical aids and university staff through usage of contemporary scientific and educational technology, involvement of capable students to scientific and teaching activities, improving of teaching qualification in foreign countries, publication of textbooks, methodical educational complexes for all courses in mother tongue, English and Russian, gradual provision of majors and departments with modern technology, strengthening of international ties, promotion of cooperation with world universities, organization of distance learning, developing of research and intelligence.
Professor Sharifzoda Mumin Mashokir is an author of over 100 printed works, scientific and scientific-popular articles. He plays a great role in country education development, efficiency of education process, preparation of specialists meeting the world requirement. For his effective work in preparation of high qualified specialists, publication of scientific works and methodical textbooks, for big achievements in the sphere of education he is awarded with the medal of Honored Economist of Tajikistan, Merited Votary of Consumers’ Cooperation of Tajik Republic, Exemplary of Tajik Education.
