                      Muminzoda Sheroz Abdujabbor

Rector of the State University of Law, Business and Politics of Tajikistan, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor

Muminzoda Sheroz Abdujabbor was born on September 27, 1982, in Bobojon Ghafurov district. In 2004, after graduating from the State University of Commerce of Tajikistan with a degree in law, he began his career as an assistant at the chair of Sociology (2004–2007), then was appointed head of the youth affairs department (2007–2009), deputy dean of the Faculty of Trade, Customs affair and Law (2009–2012), head of the preparatory department (2012–2015), assistant director (2015–2017), dean of the Faculty of Trade, Customs affair and Law at the State Educational Institution Institute of Economics and Trade under the State University of Commerce of Tajikistan (2017–2018).

From 2018 to 2024, he was dean of the Faculty of Law and from April 2024 to May 2025 became a vice-rector for academic affairs at the State Educational Institution “State University of Law, Business and Politics of Tajikistan.”

In 2015, Muminzoda Sheroz Abdujabbor defended his candidate dissertation titled “Legal Regulation of Futures Contracts Concluded on Financial Exchanges” and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences.

He is a prolific scholar contributing significantly to the development of science and education in the country and legal field through authorship of scientific articles, teaching and methodological manuals, as well as educational curricula and programs. Throughout his career, he followed directives and constructive guidance of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, faithfully serving with high responsibility in improving the quality of education, preparing highly qualified specialists, and fostering youth in the spirit of patriotism and national pride.

For his productive work in preparing skilled specialists, he has been awarded the title of Honorary Worker of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, a commemorative medal on the occasion of 30th anniversary of Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Honorary diploma from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Republican Union of Journalists of Tajikistan, executive authorities of Sughd region and city of Khujand, and an Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Sughd region.

By the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 28, 2025, No. 307, Muminzoda Sheroz Abdujabbor was appointed rector of the State Educational Institution “State University of Law, Business and Politics of Tajikistan in Khujand city.”
