HOSHIMZODA HOMID HASAN

Rector of the Tajik state university of law, business and politics, Doctor of Economic Sciences

          Hashimzoda Hamid Hasan was born on November 12, 1980 in jamoat of Histevarz, Bobojon Gafurov district of Sughd region in a working family. In 1997, he finished secondary educational school #40 of B. Gafurov district with honorary certificate and entered the Unified educational complex of Tajik State University of Commerce on the major of “Customs Affair”. In 2002, he graduated from this university as a specialist of customs manager’s affairs with honorary diploma. In 2004-2008, he was an assistant at the department of business and law, in 2008-2009 – deputy head of the department of Education at the Business College of Tajik State University of Commerce. Subsequently, he held the positions of Assistant Vice-president of the Unified Educational complex of the Tajik State Commercial University (2009-2010), assistant director (2010-2015), deputy director for education (2015-2018), associate professor of the department of Commodity Science and Customs Affairs of the state educational institution “Institute of Economics and Trade of the Tajik State University of Commerce in Khujand” (2018-2020).

In 2021-2024, he held the position of director of the State Educational Institution “Economics and Trade University of Tajik State University of Commerce” in Khujand.

Hoshimzoda Hamid Hasan was appointed rector of State Educational Institution “State University of Law, Business and Politics of Tajikistan” in Khujand city on January 29, 2024 under No. 24 by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In 2011, he defended his candidate’s thesis on the topic “Development of the organizational and economic foundations of regional customs regulation (in the example of Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan)” on specialty 08.00.05 – economy and management of the national economy (regional economy) and was awarded the degree of candidate of economic sciences. In 2023, he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic “Improvement of macroeconomic mechanism regulation in the development of regions of the Republic of Tajikistan (theory, methodology and practice)” to obtain the degree of doctor of economic sciences in the specialty 08.00.03 – regional and territorial economy, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan from June 19, 2023, No. 7 received the degree of doctor of economic sciences.

Hoshimzoda Hamid Hassan is a productive scientist and makes a significant contribution to the development of science and education in the country and national economy by publishing scientific articles, educational and methodological instructions, and educational plans and programs.

During the entire period of his activity he ensured implementation of instructions, and constructive guidelines of the Founder of National Peace and Unity – the Leader of Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honorable Emomali Rahmon as a guide of his activity improving quality of education, training highly qualified specialists, educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and national pride with great responsibility.

Hoshimzoda Hamid Hasan for his fruitful work in training qualified specialists, publication of scientific works and methodical instructions, significant achievement indicators by the order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan has been awarded with the Order of Honor of the Republic of Tajikistan, a badge of Excellence in Education and Science of Tajikistan, Excellence of Cooperation of Goods of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jubilee Medal of People’s Democratic Party of Sughd Region, Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Certificate of Honor of the Republican “Tojikmatlubot” and a number of other awards.
