Organization of Job Vacancy Fair and Exhibition – Sale of Domestic Products

Today, on February 20, 2025, a job vacancy fair and exhibition-sale of domestically produced products took place at the Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics. The event was organized by the university in collaboration with an Employment and Labor Agency of the Sughd region, financial institutions, manufacturing and commercial enterprises, as well as mobile companies.

The fair was organized with the aim of developing students’ professional skills and providing employment opportunities for graduates, and was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the beginning of an event, the head of public relations department analysis, associate professor Karimov A.A., welcomed everyone on behalf of university leadership and labor collective. Then, the floor was given to university rector, Doctor of Economics sciences Homid Hoshimzoda.  Homid Hoshimzoda congratulated the guests of the fair and noted that every year, by the initiative of a Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the issue of youth is always at the forefront, and one of the key goals of the state and government policy is to ensure population employment and to involve graduates in the labor market. Every year, by the initiative of the university, a job vacancy fair is held in collaboration with an Employment and Labor Agency of Sughd region, financial institutions, and manufacturing and commercial enterprises with the aim of developing professional skills of students and providing employment for graduates. We are proud that this event this year is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The employment of youth, especially university graduates, is one of the priority issues of the government, and in this regard, several state programs are being implemented.

The university management has signed agreements with 195 enterprises and organizations to improve practical training process for students and ensure their permanent employment.

At the fair, representatives of an Employment and Labor Agency of Sughd region, Branch No. 23 of the State Enterprise “Amonatbank” in Sughd region Mashrafjonzoda Sh., Chairman of the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Khujand, Jabbari M.A., and 4th-year student Abdu Nazarova G. gave speeches. In their speeches, the leaders of the concerned authorities and organizations emphasized timeliness and necessity of organizing the fair for population employment, especially graduates.

Over 2000 vacancies were presented by domestic institutions and organizations, and hundreds of graduates and students of universities in Sughd region were employed, with salaries ranging from 1500 to 5000 somoni.

It should be noted that this event has several objectives:

• The first goal is to give our talented youth an opportunity to get acquainted with the labor market and find a decent job.
• The second goal is to create cooperation between the university and the industrial sector to develop the national economy.
• The third goal is to give enterprises an opportunity to showcase of their products, expanding their client and partner network.
• The fourth goal is to strengthen university’s strategic cooperation with an industrial sector and create new opportunities for scientific and practical collaboration.

At the end of an event, leaders and representatives of authorities, institutions, and banking organizations were awarded certificates of appreciation from the university authority for their active participation and cooperation.

It should be noted that organization of such fairs has become a tradition at Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics, and it is held annually with participation of numerous partner enterprises and organizations.
