Celebration of Sada – а Reflection of the History and Civilization of the Aryan People
On January 31, according to a Library plan, an educational and cultural event dedicated to Sada celebration under the title of “Celebration of Sada – a Reflection of the History and Civilization of the Aryan People” was held in collaboration with professors of History and Religious Studies chair.
First, Library director, Gulnora Haydarova, was given a floor and noted that celebration of Sada, as a symbol of prosperity, health, happiness, and removal of evil and impurity, holds great social and cultural significance. It was only thanks to freedom and independence of the state that celebration of Sada was revived, and it has been five years since this national tradition has been celebrated in our country.
Then, the chief of Political Science chair, professor Furqat Homidzoda, spoke on the topic “History of Sada Celebration,” followed by Sardar Abdulloev, a representative of the Youth and Sports Department of Sughd region, who spoke on “National Culture – the Most Important Factor of Education,” the chief of the History and Religious Studies chair, associate professor Manzura Homidova, who spoke on “Sada – the National Holiday of Tajiks,” senior teacher of the chief of History and Religious Studies chair, Umedjon Qahorov, who spoke on “The Role of a Message of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon in Reviving National Holidays,” head of the Department of Education Marufjon Hasanov, Chairman of university Trade Union Murodjon Isoqov, and a representative of the Youth Union of Tajikistan at university, Muhammadali Khojiev, who all noted that Sada is not just a holiday, but a recognition of Tajik culture and people throughout history. This symbol represents a broad and high understanding of life, new opportunities, and gratitude of hardworking people for enchanting nature and the hard work of prosperous people. The participation of youth in such events is important because they understand that building a future and strengthening unity is essential and necessary. Sada celebration symbolizes the relationship between humans and nature, and we must celebrate this holiday with self-awareness and sensitivity in order to preserve our national and cultural values.
After the speeches and presentations by professors, Sardar Abdulloev, a representative of the Youth and Sports Department of Sughd region, awarded a number of professors with Certificates of Appreciation and commemorative gifts on behalf of the Head of the Department, Bakhtiyor Ismatzoda, for their significant contribution to implementing the state youth policy, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and active participation in cultural and political events in connection with Sada celebration.
At the end of the event, a valuable gift from the university’s administration was presented to an honored guest.
