Сollective Viewing of the President’s Address at the university

Оn December 28, 2024, in Dushanbe, in the new and grand building of the Parliament of Tajikistan, a joint session of the tenth convocation of the National Assembly and Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan took place. In this session, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon delivered a speech to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on the “Main Directions of External and Internal Policy of the Republic”.

The Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, which serves as a guide for the development of the country’s economy, was watched by all the staff, faculty, and students of the Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics in the assembly halls, auditoriums, and classrooms of five educational buildings.

Indeed, the delivery of a Message by the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan has become a tradition and reflects current successes and prospects for country’s future development. The Leader of Nation’s Message serves as a roadmap for sustainable development of the country, and implementation of its key points contributes to improving the standard and quality of peoples’ life, ensuring peace and stability in society, and enhancing Tajikistan’s international stature.

As every year, in his Message to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon outlined the main directions of domestic and foreign policy, ensuring economic development, industry, investment, and entrepreneurship growth, science and education, healthcare and social protection, culture, security and defense, law enforcement, development of friendly and cooperative relations with foreign countries and international and regional organizations, youth, sports, and tourism, and set specific tasks to responsible authorities.

Furthermore, in his speech, the Leader of the Nation gave special attention to education sector, emphasizing that foundation of a nation begins with education, and caring for education sector is an investment in the development of human potential and future prosperity of the state and homeland.

The Head of State proposed that years 2025–2030 be declared as “Years of Digital Economy and Innovation” in order to expand innovative processes and fully utilize potential of digital technologies in economy. Additionally, to take effective measures in the development of digital economy, preparation of highly qualified specialists, connecting science with production, implementing and widely using modern technologies, strengthening material and technical base, stimulating innovation activities, widely applying innovative technologies in production, and supporting constructive initiatives of entrepreneurs in this area, proposals were made by the Leader of the Nation.

Thus, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, in his Message to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, reflected on the successes of 2024 and the period of the country’s independence, and outlined the country’s future domestic and foreign policies in all vital sectors of the national economy.

The support and constant attention of the Head of State to the employees of the science and education sector are felt, and the increase in the salaries of education workers by 20%, which was emphasized in the Message, is a testament to the President’s attention.
