Сooperation of TSULBP with Korean Universities
From November 17 to 24, 2024, the Head of International Relations Department, PhD in Philology Komiljon Karimovich Sharipov visited Seoul, Republic of Korea, to participate in a seminar for professional development of foreign language teachers. This seminar was organized with the support of an Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Tajikistan, with permission from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, and by invitation of the National University of International Education in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan has established cooperation with the Republic of Korea in the field of education and science based on Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Government of the Republic of Korea on economic, scientific, and technical cooperation, signed on April 12, 2015, as well as annual meetings of the Tajik-Korean Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
As part of expanding international cooperation, in March 2024, with the direct support of the Republic of Tajikistan Government, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an Embassy of Korean Republic in the Republic of Tajikistan, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics and an Embassy of the Republic of Korea. Based on this agreement, Korean Language Study Center was established at the Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics.
It should be noted that this trip was carried out with direct support of Tajik Republic Government, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Tajikistan, and Administration of the Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics as part of an opening of Korean Language Center at TSULBP.
During his trip, Sharipov K. participated in events organized by representatives of the National University of International Education in Seoul, Visang University in Seoul, Kyung Hee University, Institute of Foreign Languages, Gyeonggi Foreign Language Academy in Busan, and foreign language testing centers in Seoul, South Korea, aimed at improving the quality of foreign language education. He became familiar with an advanced experience of universities and institutions in Seoul, South Korea.
The events were attended by 32 participants — foreign language teachers from CIS countries: Republic of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Russian Federation.
