“Open Door Week” in TSULBP

It is a matter of pride and honor that honorable people of Tajikistan are celebrating the great national holiday, the 33rd anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, in the atmosphere of peace and stability, stable development and all-encompassing peace.
Dedicated to this important date, series of events are being held in all faculties of the State University of Law, Business and Politics of Tajikistan.
In particular, according to weekly schedule of a library from 09/03/2024 to 09/07/2024 was announced and held “Open Door Week” which was dedicated to the Book Day and the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan under the title “Independence is the highest and most valuable achievement of a state and nation” for fresh students of the university faculties.
It is worth noting that every year September 4 is celebrated as a “Book Day” in the republic. The book is the greatest precious resource that should have its own place. The Founder of National Peace and Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, noted in his speech that “… the book is not only a source of knowledge, but also an important tool for a spiritual education of a person…”.
On this occasion, in the hall of the library, a book exhibition was held to celebrate the coming holidays, works of a Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, scientific and educational works of university professors related to their specialization, newly imported literature and fiction books were presented to readers. Librarians introduced exhibited books and organized explanatory work on rules of using traditional and electronic library.
Also, during this week, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor John Shchembari from Fordham University, USA, who came to our university for development of international cooperation of our university, visited scientific library. Professor John got acquainted with exhibition of books, electronic library, book database and had a conversation with students in English. For promotion of civilizational history of Tajik people, the book “Tojikon” by academician Bobojon Ghafurov in English was presented to a guest as a symbol of friendship.
Reading of educational materials during learning process will provide a favorable basis for students, because these books will provide a valuable assistance for students in terms of obtaining complete knowledge and accurate information, depending on qualification.
The purpose of newly published books presentation is to attract more students to the library and reading hall, their provision in the course of lessons with educational materials, as well as to familiarize students with possibilities of scientific and electronic library.
