Holding of the international scientific and practical conference “SCO in the global economy: 20 years of fruitful work and prospects ” at TSULBP

An international scientific and practical conference on “The SCO in the World Economy: 20 years of fruitful work and prospects” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics.

The plenary session of the conference was attended by: vice-rector for international development of Altai state university, Ph.D. Raikin Roman Ilyich, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ustinkin Sergey Vasilyevich, professor of the Almaty University of Energy and Communications named after Gumarbek Daukeev Bakhtiar Balzhan Turepashovna, Deputy director of the Confucius institute at the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan Meng Siangkai,  teachers of TSULBP Alimov Botur and Kasymova Dilrabo.

At the plenary session was noted that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is one of the most influential international organizations. This is evidenced by the economic, political, military-technical activities of several countries under the auspices of this organization and the involvement of new member States.

In addition, the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in solving various issues at the international and regional level, such as terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, international organized crime, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, national and religious conflicts, epidemics, environmental problems and multi-vector relations of socio-economic development, trade, technological development, education, culture and other important spheres of public life with the member states of this organization were discussed.

The work of the conference continued in sections, at which representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod state linguistic university named after N. A. Dobrolyubov made speeches: d.p.s.,professor Kolobov O. A., d.p.s.,professor Kolobova S. A., d. h. s., professor Ustinkin S. V., Ph. D., associate professor Korshunov D. S., Ph. D., associate professor Morozova N. M., Ph. D., associate professor Boev E. B., senior lecturer of the TTU named after M. Osimi Gulrukhsor Mamurova and others.

The conference participants paid special attention to the retrospective analysis of 20 years of fruitful cooperation between the SCO countries; the state, problems and ways of developing foreign economic relations within the SCO; aspects and prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the SCO; cooperation between the SCO countries in the field of education, health and culture; the SCO as a mechanism for supporting international security; the role and significance of the SCO in the modern system of international relations; new geopolitics in the world economy; legal foundations for the development of international relations, etc.

The final part was devoted to awarding the winners of the competition among students “Tajikistan is an active participant of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization” in honor of the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 20th anniversary of the SCO, teachers who distinguished themselves in preparing students for the Republican Olympiad of higher educational institutions of the country, the winners of the republican contests “The book of wisdom of the dawn of radiance” and “Science-wisdom of radiance” were rewarded with certificates of honor and symbolic gifts from the university management.

The conference served as a bulwark and laid a real foundation for the development of multifaceted, scientific, technical, political, trade, economic, legal and cultural cooperation.
