The ultimate goal of every higher educational institution at all times is to train worthy specialists-businessmen in various and specific fields of national economy. In higher schools, the board of education has the main position in organization, regulation, coordination and analysis and implementation of an educational process in all educational systems. From the first days of this knowledge database (August 1993) establishment, an educational part in the staffing table of this institution, as a composite structure, began to operate. Later, it was renamed from educational  department to educational authority.

Department of Education was established by the decision of an Academic Council of the University in 2012. The target of an educational department is purposeful organization of an educational process at the university by determining directions, main levels and problems of education aimed at achieving a high level of educational quality, organizing and regulating activities necessary to ensure the regular process of education at the university, comprehensive support, improving and implementing new teaching methods related to experiences of educational institutions operating in the republic and in the international arena (the main attention is paid to a regular transition of education through the credit system),  regular application of the most important scientific and technical innovations, the latest achievements of modern science and technology, improvement and expansion of an educational process.

Helping to find new methods for more and more comprehensive involvement of students in mastering educational subjects and increasing interest in specialization, by creating favorable conditions for students and teachers in the use of modern technologies, increasing interest in mastering educational materials, formation and establishment of relations in the field of improving the quality of education with institutions of higher professional education in the country and abroad. Improving prospects of active university participation in the international education system, including the credit system of education, strengthening and enriching foundations of creativity and innovation of teachers in the direction of a quality of education.

The lever of organization and management of a proper education and generally other mentioned pillars is mainly under combined responsibility of the main structures of an educational institution, such as education department (education authority with its sub-structures) and the deanery of faculties and departments of higher schools. It is directly similar to planning of the target activity – supply flow, in the organization of an educational process using and relying on the legal and regulatory documents of the main, sectors and internal appointments with a regular use of several documents and in organization of the following activities at the end of the current year and the beginning of the new academic year are:

  1. Taking into account the State Standard of higher professional education on specialization and educational programs approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan;
  2. Model educational plans of specialties approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan;
  3. Educational work plans for courses and specialties of departments (taking into account the inclusion of wishes of all students in application of elective subjects and teachers);
  4. Organization of the presentation campaign of the syllabuses and programs of those teachers that the students should choose;
  5. Determination of an educational process schedule (timetable) according to specialties and courses, number of academic groups, sub-groups, laboratory classes, linguistic subgroups, etc.;
  6. Instruction or university regulation on planning of departments teachers workloads and ensuring timely cooperation of departments, dean’s offices, education department and other related structures;
  7. Calculation of hours, workload of teachers and typed (variant) of preliminary lesson schedules with all their details (registered documents must be determined before the teachers go on leave);
  8. The audit fund (classrooms) and educational shift of each faculty should be thoroughly regulated from one center;
  9. Timely provision of a material and technical base of the departments and deaneries, educational classrooms and laboratories by the department of economics and the department of education;
  10. Development and approval of educational and work programs (syllabus) of the subject before the start of lessons based on the approved educational work plans;
  11. Review and approval of teachers’ individual plans and work plans of departments by the dean’s office of the faculty and the university board, etc.;
  12. Preparation of schedules of students’ internships and presentation of their reports, orders for students’ travel to internships, etc.
