Rector – Chairman of Scientists’ Council

Scientists’ Council  of Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics operates on the basis of Scientists’ Council regulation of Higher Professional Education Institution of the Republic of Tajikistan, which was approved by the Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan dated from May 26, 2006, No. 18/3.

Council of scientists was established by the rector for the purpose of considering the main university educational and upbringing issues, scientific and methodical, economic and financial activities and is considered the governing university body. The main task of university Scientists’ Council  is to implement the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Education”, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Higher Professional Educational and Vocational Education for Higher Educational Institutions”, Model Regulations on Educational Institutions of Higher Vocational Education of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Model regulation of the Council of scientists of the institution of higher professional education of the Republic of Tajikistan, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, decisions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, regulatory and legal documents on the field of education and science of the Republic of Tajikistan.

According to the model regulation on educational institution of higher professional education of the Republic of Tajikistan, rector of the university, H.H. Hoshimzoda, is a chairman of the university’s academic council.

The council of university scientists consists of a rector, vice-rectors, deans of faculties, chiefs of departments, director of a library, heads of departments and representatives of public organizations

Council of University Scientists’ activity is carried out in accordance with the plan that is developed for each semester. The work plan of Scientists’ Council is approved by the university rector after its review at the meeting of the Council of Scientists.

Issues discussed at the meetings of the council of scientists are aimed at improving educational, scientific and innovative, educational activities, strengthening university scientific and methodological base, and contribute to further development of the university in all areas of activity.
