 INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND ACCOUNTING FACULTY

Innovative Technologies and Accounting faculty was established on the basis of the faculty of Innovation and Commercial Technologies by resolution No. 9 of an  Academic Council of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics dated January 24, 2013. According to the decision of the University Academic Council dated August 24, 2023, changes were made to the faculty’s organizational structure, and it received its current name.

The faculty comprises of six chairs: the chair of Information Technologies in Economics, the chair of Information and Communication Technologies and Programming, the chair of Modern Mathematical and Natural Sciences, the chair of Audit and Revision, the chair of Accounting, and the chair of Physical Education.

The faculty trains specialists in the following fields: engineer-economist, engineer-programmer-economist, software engineer, design engineer, telecommunications engineer, mathematician-programmer, teacher of mathematics (informatics), and economist.

Students are educated in the following specialties:

1-31.03.04.08 – Web Design and Computer Graphics;
1-40.01.01.02 – Automated Systems;
1-45.01.01.03 – Information and Telecommunication Management Technologies;
1-40.01.01 – Software Engineering of Information Technologies;
1-40.01.01.08 – Software Engineering (IT Technologies);
1-02.05.03.02 – Mathematics, Informatics (Teacher Training);
1-98.01.01 – Computer Security;
1-40.01.02.02 – Information Technologies and Systems (in Economics);
1-40.01.02.02.01 – Information Technologies in Accounting;
1-25.01.08 – Accounting, Analysis and Audit;
1-25.01.11 – Audit and Revision.

Education is provided in full-time, distance-learning, and part-time modes at the bachelor’s and master’s degree levels. Graduates of the faculty are employed in the fields of economics, including banking, information systems, organizations and enterprises, research institutions, and accounting systems of organizations and institutions.

Professors and associate professors make up 50 percent of the total academic staff. The faculty conducts active research work within state programs aimed at the development of innovation and mathematical and technical sciences.
